Sutton Foster has won Tony Awards for her performances as a character in Anything Goes & Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance when she was just the age of 15. Then she appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych in addition to Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed all over the United States as well as internationally with their musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo album "Wish" as well as her follow up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. In 2011, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate at Ball State University where she is also on the faculty as a teacher and advisor for members of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
