Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress, born September 3rd, 1983 in Los Angeles. Thompson is the daughter of singer-songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the niece of actor-musician Bobby Ramos. The family lived as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father is Afro-Panamanian in family and her mother is from Mexican and British Isles ancestry. Thompson was part of many productions during her time at Santa Monica High School. The years that followed her graduation, she attended Santa Monica College where she obtained a degree in cultural Anthropology. The role she played was Juliet in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" in a play which was held by the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. Her nomination was for the NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. Tessa began her television debut in 2005. Her role was in the lead in a CBS Series. Tessa Tessa Tessa
